ADE Concerts Excerpts (1994) is an album by the Comma_13 Band that refers to a selection of songs related to part of the concerts held by the group at the “ADE” Club, a private club located in Florence, during the years 1994-1995 . These pieces have not been published for a long time and only later has it been decided to publish a part. In fact, starting from 20 August 2021, they have been available on the main digital platforms.
The full version of the album appears among the unpublished ones. It has been the subject of an article on this same site to which we refer you for a possible reading: ADE Concerts (Unabridged 1994-1995).
Basically what was written in the aforementioned article is also attributable to these passages. In particular regarding the fact that there is a nice atmosphere, effective and dirty, almost as if the songs were really played by the original performers. The whole album transmits a great vitality, perceived and shared by the present public too, which is not in the least affected by the slight imperfections in the execution of the covers.
Under the boardwalk (Resnick/Young) the opening track. Song known and made even more famous by the Rolling Stones for having published it in their second LP “The Rolling Stones n° 2”. Then famous and not easy Beatles pieces like Girl, Let it be, Something. Another slow song by Clapton Tears in Heaven and finally two songs in Italian. La Canzone del Sole by Battisti and Overdose by Zucchero to complete the album. Passion, feeling and desire to play are not lacking!
