ADE Concerts (Unabridged 1994-1995) is the album of the “Comma_13 Band” concerning concerts held in ADE pub, private club in Firenze, during years 1994-1995. The Band was formed on 1992 by initiative of Gualtiero Lemmi (drums, keyboards), assisted on this occasion by Alessandro Arcangioli (voice, drums) and performed till 1997.
ADE Concerts collects recordings from that period that testify to the involvement that the group knew how to arouse among the listeners to whom it transmitted emotions and fun.
The group had found a good amalgamation and listening to songs like “Under the Boardwalk” and “Honey Don’t”, but also “Time is on my Side”, you can breathe a good atmosphere, effective and dirty, almost as if they had been played truly from the original performers. A common opinion also for other listeners who have heard the pieces and who all the time accompanied them rhythmically, moving their heads and snapping their fingers. The whole album transmits a great vitality, also perceived by the present public, which is not in the least affected by the slight imperfections in the execution of the covers. Read comments. “Honey Don’t” – “Time is on my Side”
The album has not been released so far. It will soon be available on major digital platforms but not in the full version present here. It will be a selection of pieces entitled “ADE Concerts Excerpts (1994)” which will be the subject of a specific article. Not included in the new album, you may listen two tracks.
The first, at following link, is the known “Honey Don’t” by Carl Perkins then utilized by the Beatles too, is exactly from 1994, taken from one of those evenings at the “ADE“. The musicians are Alessandro Arcangioli (voice), Andrea Dreoni (guitar), Claudio Russo (guitar), Max Zatini (bass), Gualtiero Lemmi (drums). Lyrics song is so much overture by the two singers Claudio and Alessandro.
The second Live song, included here, Time is on my Side, is from 1995 and with same line-up, except bassist. Paolo Peruzzi replaces Max Zatini on bass. This song, written by Jerry Ravovoy (Meade), was picked up by the Rolling Stones and featured on their second album in 1965.
